There's something special about live music. The lights, the crowd, the energy between musicians, and those split-second moments when everything comes together. As a photographer and lifelong music lover, capturing that feeling is one of my favorite things to do.
I've had the opportunity to photograph countless performances, including many at Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I've always had a particular love for jam bands, where improvisation, spontaneity, and the connection between musicians make every performance unique. You never quite know what's coming next, and that's what makes photographing live music so rewarding.
Whether it's an intimate club show, a packed festival, or an unforgettable night under the stars at Red Rocks, my goal is simple: capture the emotion, the artistry, and the moments that make live music come alive.
