Early alarms, long drives, changing weather, cold mornings and a lot of waiting are often part of the process. Based in Colorado and having spent much of my career working on location around the world, I've learned that the best landscape images usually happen when preparation meets a few seconds of incredible light.

Colorado is home, but my work has taken me throughout all 50 states and more than 60 countries. From the Rocky Mountains and Grand Tetons to Alaska, Europe and remote locations around the world, I'm always looking for photographs that communicate scale, atmosphere and a genuine sense of place.
