A strong photograph should do more than document what happened.

My background in photojournalism and documentary production has shaped the way I shoot stills. I’m constantly looking for expressions, details, light, layers and moments that make an image feel real instead of staged.
Sometimes that means carefully shaping an executive portrait.
Sometimes it means disappearing into the background and waiting for the moment.

Years of working in concerts, broadcast and live production have taught me how to anticipate those moments and work quickly in difficult lighting without getting in the way of the event itself.
From intimate venues and backstage access to large concerts, conferences and major events, I look for the images that capture not just what the event looked like — but what it felt like.
Landscapes, Mountains & the Outdoors
Colorado makes it easy to fall in love with photography.
Mountains, weather, changing seasons and dramatic light create incredible opportunities, but the best landscape images rarely happen by accident.
I’m comfortable starting before sunrise, hiking into a location, working in changing weather and waiting for the right light.

For productions that need both video and photography, I can integrate still photography into a larger production workflow.
That can mean capturing dedicated stills alongside a video shoot, photographing behind-the-scenes content, creating social assets or building a larger visual library from the same production day.
For clients, that can mean:

When a project needs additional coverage, dedicated photographers or assistants can be added as needed.

I work with professional Sony mirrorless camera systems and a range of lenses designed for portraits, events, landscapes, architecture and low-light photography.
My photography kit can be scaled for everything from lightweight documentary assignments to fully lit corporate portrait sessions.
Lighting, grip, backgrounds and additional production support are available depending on the needs of the assignment.
